When I worked for a Big Oil company as a young pup engineer, the place was less than affectionately referred to as "The Swamp". As in "I've just been transferred to..."
Seems these days that sobriquet has been usurped by D.C.

I left the oil business because I didn't want to live in Texas. People call the fact that I was born in Texas my dirty secret.
 
If I owned Hell and Texas, I'd rent out Texas and live in Hell.

I would hope that's the mortgage payment, not the maintenance cost.
