g-1000 CNFG module PFD1 Configuration

I have a 2006 skylane with g-1000.
I receive a alert on the pfd, "CNFG Module PFD1 configuration"
I have had avionic shop work this once and message
disappeared for a short time.
I have also experienced seeing the message on the
first leg of a 2 leg flight, then the message disappear on the
second leg. I do not see any obvious issues while message is
active. Manual indicates "PDF configuration module backup
memory has failed"
Does anyone have any information on this issue?

Consider calling Garmin’s service number. I bet they may have more insight to share with the av shop. Maybe get recommendation for a shop in region who’s expert in G1000.

Curious what they may say for a diagnostic procedure.

Is there error message notated or listed in the operator's manual?
