Sidetone volume different between left and right seat?

This is the Garmin GNS430 radio and the GMA340 audio panel. The sidetone volume is correct when I am flying from the left seat, but the sidetone volume is too low when flying from the right seat. I looked through the manuals, and it explains how to adjust the sidetone volume in the configuration, but there doesn't seem to be an option to have different sidetone volumes for the pilot and copilot. I am not exactly sure why there is this difference.

Yes, it is exactly the same headset.

I think what Ron was suggesting is that you swap headsets (even though they are the same model) and see if the problem follows the headset or the phones jack on the aircraft.
