Bought a C182P, so wanted to share the news.
It's a 1976 model, with a BRS installed (still has 1178 lbs useful load).
Flew it today from Phoenix to Santa Fe and she was great.
Can't wait to make her perfect for our mission, which is long distance/time travel.

Congrats! Looks like you had a nice day for flying.

Do tell what you plan on installing to get your airplane ready for time travel. :p

Congratulations, 182's are great cruising planes, especially if you enjoy seeing the country you pass over.

I only have a couple of thousand miles in them but much better than my normal 172.

Nice exterior paint, mostly hanger kept,or repaint?

Congrats! I have abut 50 hours in 182s and got my instrument rating in one.

Woo hoo! Congratulations!

Original paint. TT is only 1740

Appropriate 70's color too! (My 172 was the same) Congrats!

...TT is only 1740

I imagine that's a rare find!
Congrats!
Let us know what you want us to help spend the rest of your money on.
Avionics? New interior? Expensive headsets? Upgrade to a Bo? We're here to help. :D

Hehe, definitely more Qs coming (the plane needs a lot of changes).
Not interested in a Bo. C182 fits our mission better than any other plane, which is why I got it.

Named the plane Verne, for Jules Verne. He should be taking us all around the world one day.

Let's hear more...where did you find it? Is it ADSB OUT compliant? Does it have a AP or wing leveler? Any other quirks or questions?

Cool!!! You have more useful load than my entire 150 weighs with almost 1/2 fuel! :D

Beautiful plane, congratulations!
