Practically, maybe, but not legally. You could certainly get it on the ground, but continued flight without the equipment required by FAR would not be legal. Unless EXPERIMENTAL’s are exempt from needing any equipment. Even then, flying without any engine instruments at all is probably not a good idea.

Of course, not a good idea. But if my instruments failed mid-flight, whether it's legal or not would be my least concern!

Very nice, if naked panel... Well nekkid on the right side, anyway.

That's why the Cardinal truly was built as the plane of the future.... All that room on the right side for.... A glovebox! And nobody uses gloveboxes for gloves...

And yes, I jest. That seems a fantastic panel!

I had permission and Mother actually encouraged it. Subtlety wasn't working and they wanted a more "direct" approach to awareness.

It's rather intentional for two reasons:
(1) I spend most of my time flying single pilot IFR for work and personal travel
(2) When my wife and/or any of my 4 kids are with me, mount an iPad on the co-pilot panel for in-flight entertainment.
