Overhauled Bendix Mags

Looking to replace my two mags with overhauled units. ACS offers Kelly O/H units for ~$200 less than Aircraft Magneto Service. I know AMS offers a 500hr warranty and does great work, but $200 extra each is getting a little steep.

Anyone have experience with the Kelly O/H mags? Worth considering?

I bet it's not the only limit on the warranty. Be careful, it probably says something like "500 hours or 1 year, whichever expires first".

Had a mag failure on Monday. my A&P at home field overhauled them 400 hours ago and it was inexpensive. would do it again but away from home. ordered a rebuilt one for around 900 plus 250 core.

Kelly can't even get an alternator right, so I wouldn't buy their mags.

ACS reviews weren't too complementary on the overhauled mags by Kelly.
I ordered from quality aircraft accessories.
