Wife and kids were considering a trip to Wisconsin Dells next year and I thought it might be a good trip to fly. I thought I would look up the local airport which is Baraboo (KDLL) and see if they had any fees. Boy was I surprised. Hope you don't have to pee when you land!

There have been times I'd have paid $50.

I was headed down to OK several years ago on a bitter cold winter day. Had a cup of coffee at home, one for the drive to the airport. Had a cup when I got there. Used the facilities before departing but was over Joplin or so when I knew I had a problem. Thought I could make it though. I was right over Shawnee, OK, almost to my destination, when I just couldn't hold it any longer. I think the plane was still moving when I exited and sprinted to the FBO.

Might want to contact them directly. Their website doesn't list any fees. I've decided that any FBO that doesn't list fees on their website, I will be charging an appearance fee. If they don't pay it, I will claim it as a loss and file that with the IRS. Maybe then they will start to be a bit more transparent.

Call them, pretty sure they don't charge private pilots like that. I went there a few years back and took the free shuttle into the casino. I don't recall paying any fees. There's also c35 right next to it and they definitely didn't have any fees when I was there either.

That’s for servicing the lav on a business jet.

I don’t see any thing that looks that outrageous for a tourist destination. I would call the FBO to get the piston rate, but it looks like $35 ramp fee and $10 a night tie down max.

Yeah little airports in the rural midwest don't charge fees like that, at least not normally. There usually isn't a fee, sometimes a destination airport will charge $5/night but most of the time even that get waived with fuel. There are always exceptions but I've yet to land at one.

The most I've paid anywhere was about $20/night ramp fees waived with fuel. And that's at busy class C or D airports in busy destination areas near the ocean.

Come to the backcountry, we have cookies...and no landing fees ;)

I see quite a few clearings, rivers and lakes around there.

What’s the price of fuel, do they have self service ?

I've gone there regularly on training flights. I don't believe those fees are remotely accurate, if they even have fees at all.

Flew into KDLL less than a month ago. Tied down the entire day. No fees at all. I did not buy any fuel, either. In fact the line guy offered to give us a ride into town in his personal vehicle. I believe he said the overnight tie down fee was $10. Great folks. I'll definitely go back.

The only two places I've been into in the last 5 years that charged me any kind of a fee was MTP (Montauk), and 0B8 (Elizabeth on Fisher's Island).
Montauk gave me agida, Elizabeth gave me a bicycle.
Block Island will charge you if you leave the field.

What is ‘agida’?

Yeah, I would question GP's data source on that. I've never paid any fees at the Dells.

That's consistent with what rampfee.me reports.
