Garmin G500 ADS-B Icon Question

I flew a friends plane last weekend with a $120K panel. G500, GTN-750, GDL-88,GNC-255A, etc.

The little traffic triangle symbol displays on the G500 as an ADS-B target.

Question: Sometimes the traffic triangle symbol shows up with an small asterisk next to it. What does this mean? could not the definition of the asterisk reading the both the G500 & GDL-88 manual.

Can't answer the asterisk question specifically, but there is a traffic specific page (two clicks right on the inner right hand knob) on the G500 that lets you "point" to each target to get more info - N number, speed, vectors etc.. might be able to see what drives the * from that page. I have a G500 and can't remember seeing that.
