So I have a couple interviews scheduled and need to start getting familiar with Jeppesen and I cant even figure out how to buy the online charts.

what a crap website you have to sign up accept cookies etc just to view their products. No wonder I have avoided them for so long.

Is this what I need to buy?

P.S. non-Foreflight user here. I feel its too expensive for the service compared to other options that get the job done.

Yep already have that.

I want to do georeferenced plates on a IPAD

I like to wipe my a$$ with jepp charts, fed charts - I’ve always liked better. I guess it’s just what you learn and like.

I have always used whatever the company provides.

iPads don't clean so well....:eek: :lol::lol:

JEPP has never understood software. You can always just use their plates for FF. Still has some initial clunkiness but once you've got it up, it works like the FAA charts.

I have been very happy with Jepp customer service on the phone. Have saved money as well, as they sometimes have package deals that are cheaper than the smaller bundles. Just for charts the Jepp FD app is very easy to use on the iPad. I also use Jepp in Foreflight, and Jepp in Garmin Pilot as well. I am finding Garmin pilot to be my favorite EFB for my purposes, but a lot of that is how it interfaces with the avionics. Anyway, if you just want Jepp charts the Jepp app is really easy to use. As far as comparing to government charts, Jepp is so superior in so many ways. The only reason to use gov charts is that they are free. nothing about them is better.

I’m using Jeep’s on fore flight, have grown to like them.
