The holding pattern gets bad when a new plane is arriving every 3 minutes, or less. That’s how it was last year, Monday morning.

I think you need to go read it again.

Today was definitely non-ideal weather. I was thinking that as part of the ongoing field renovations, they need to take one of those sod-cutter machines, pull up all the grass, and then dig out a couple of feet of soil everywhere and fill it back in with sand. Put the sod back down, overseed with a kind of grass that does well without a lot of water, and we'd have much better drainage going forward.

We were planning on bringing the Mooney up, but with this latest development I'm going to leave it in the hangar at home until at least Monday and let the out-of-towners have a chance to get at the dry parking spots. I only live an hour's drive from OSH.
