DCS F-14 Sim Release Date - Mar 13!

I heard the Rift S is amazing for DCS you can read all the text in the cockpit.

Yeah Mat Wagner "Wags" of Eagle Dynamics was really impress with his Rift S that Oculus sent him.

That's great news. It's good to see VR HMDs getting better resolution. The S is supposed to be available this spring. Pimax had to fill orders for their Kickstarters, before getting them to the latecomers like myself. So, even though I ordered mine about two months ago, it just arrived last week.

With the higher resolution, it is reported to have much greater clarity than the Rift CV1, especially reading text and gauges in the cockpit. That and the wider FOV are what sold me (still haven't tested it yet). The reviews of the ultra-wide FOV and higher resolution in DCS World and X-Plane are very favorable, especially with the latest updates to it's PiTool software.

I read that both the HTC Vive and the Rift CV1 have a 110* FOV and Oculus is only saying that the S has a "slightly wider" FOV than the CV1.

The Pimax 5K+ has a 200* FOV. So I'm looking forward to the greater level of immersion it should bring.
