Just saw several cubs formation flying Southbound over the Hudson SFRA. Is there something fun going on? I didn't realize ATC allowed formation flying over the SFRA at all - very cool

Like ZeroPapaGolf stated, not part of the SFRA, but if you decided to Fly the Skyline Route, ATC will usually accommodate a flight of two. I’ve done it, not sure if it would be 3 or.more, but don’t doubt it.

It was 5 Cubs, in formation. I think they met up at Sky Acres for the flight down to NYC and back.
