Garmin Pilot question

Hi all,

I was playing with Garmin Pilot in flight yesterday, and trying to get the split screen to be half map and half AI/SynVis, and couldn't figure out how to get both of those at once - The lower half always wanted to be the "Widgets" view.

Is it possible to do AI/SynVis on the top half, and map/chart on the bottom half? If so, how?

Yes - If you want AI/Syn vis on top, start in that view view. Bottom edge in the middle is an arrow pointing up. Press it, that will split the screen. Once it splits, there will be an icon to the right of the arrow. Touch it and there will be a menu of choices for the lower screen that includes map. Done.
