garmin 1000 screen brightness

any member here remembers how to adjust the screen brightness on the garmin 1000 units?
indoors the display become so dim almost unredable
not that I need to read it indoors ...

On the Perspective the bottom right of the screen has some menu options you can toggle through

1. Which airplane? As I recall, there may be some small differences.
2. PFD or MFD? From (perhaps imperfect) memory, PFD in a C172 turn off the insets and hit the menu button.

On the PFD, Hit Menu, little FMS knob one click to the right, big FMS knob one click to the right, little FMS knob as many clicks as you need to the right. But that's from memory, so YMMV, RTFM, etc.
