Cameras won’t make it street legal. Tesla famously designed the Model X with cameras instead of mirrors but they had to change it before shipping because they couldn’t get legal approval.

They designed the Model S from the start with cameras instead of mirrors, too... It may be legal in certain states, but not all of them.

Also, I was looking for cameras on the Lear and didn't see anywhere that one might be mounted.

That's federal law for new production...in most states, cameras are fine for state law / rebuilt / custom vehicle.
