Several years ago i started taking Lisinopril for HT. A year ago or so my doc added HCTZ and my BP dropped a little more. A few months ago he added amlodipine bestylate (norvasc) as well. This has helped even further.

From my research it seems I shouldnt need to go back to AME (3 or less Diuretic, ACE Inhibitors, CCB) but wanted to check and make sure.

Thanks guys

So I think you have it right. Bruce or Lou will confirm.

From past discussions on this topic, I think Bruce has said for this to be a complete yawner, have your treating doc write a letter to include the worksheet bullet points, and include three BP readings from different days. The later helps to demonstrate that you are stable on the current treatment method.

Thanks Doc. Thats what I came up with but wanted to make check.

Now if the weather would clear up for some flying...

I found a bit of walking around helps hugely with that problem - and I always need to eat more greens!
