They "claim" to have located Glenn Miller's plane...

Gillespie's discoveries are always a prelude to another shakedown.

There are so many crashed aircraft in the English Channel I would be quite surprised if the Norseman carrying Miller was found. Given the flying conditions the day he went missing, it's also unlikely the plane ditched in one piece and gently sank to the bottom.

A scenario which includes spatial disorientation of the pilot and the plane breaking up after hitting the water seems much more likely. Since the Noorduyn had a steel frame along with wood and fabric lifting surfaces, locating the aircraft is beyond unlikely.

Maybe Rick will find a rubber shoe heel and a couple of bolts, allowing him to solve the mystery.
 
Even if they found it, it may be too late to save Glenn. . . .
