Hey Guys - Buying a 206 and this one has to go... Here's the specs:

1963 172D - 2,300 hours on the airframe; 1,300 SNEW on the 220 Franklin; Compressions all in the high 70's; Runs perfect! - $75K.

I spent a full year modifying this airplane. Its a crazy performer!

- Airglas Nose fork
- Superhawk 8.50's on the mains; 800 on the nose
- BAS Shoulder harnesses
- New Diamond plate floor
- Selkirk Fiberglass interior
- Selkirk Extended Baggage
- LED's all around
- Sport Aircraft Leather seats
- Atlee Dodge Firewall Battery Kit
- Carbon Fiber Panel Overlay
- Flint extended fuel tip tanks - 64 gallons total fuel

Avionics:
- Removed All wiring/breakers from the aircraft and replaced with new
- 2 Garmin G5's (HSI/AI)
- 2 Avidyne IFD 440's
- Garmin GI106a CDI
- Insight G2 Engine Monitor
- New Garmin Audio Panel
- Garmin 335 ADSB Transponder - Fully ADSB compliant
- Gimbal Mounted 796
- Garmin GDL39-3d
- 2 Stratus USB chargers

Located in Denver at KFTG. It cruises around 120MPH. Useful is 950lbs. When I stripped it, got a lot of weight out of it.
 
How did you mount the 796? You may have detailed it in one of your videos, but if you did, I missed it.
 
I was wondering if your 172 with the 220 Franklin is still for sale. I am selling one in Alaska and looking for one in the lower 48

Is it still for sale , if so where is it located
 
I had written about selling a Franklin equipped 172 in Alaska (taildragger) mine is actually still for sale
