If anyone is in the south Alabama north Florida we would appreciate some help. We have a tower and a precision approach radar, that if you have never done it is a great learning experience. We are here for 2 weeks and would really appreciate the help. We have about 5 controllers on each system we are trying to get rated by next Friday so any help POA can provide would be great.

If you have never shot a PAR Approach it will make you a better IFR and Pilot all around.

Thank y’all so much

Does Rucker know about it? Should get plenty of help from them. Done the NDB there many times.

What are you guys set up there for? Strickly to train controllers? Why not use an already established Class D airport?

Do they still set up a GCA to a grass field near High Bluff or High Falls, I can't remember the exact site?

I believe on his other thread they were trying to get current prior to deployment. They already have station PARs in the class Ds at Cairns and Troy. This is probably their tactical gear (ATNAVICS). Most likely VFR only.
