passed my PPL checkride today. 39 years after my first solo I am a certificated Private Pilot!

First appointment was 10/17 but weather wouldn't cooperate, then 11/3 again bad weather, finally hit the weather sweet spot today. 1 hour oral and exactly 1 hour on the Hobbs.

Feels pretty damn sweet!

No longer a wannabe.

You got me beat. Mine was only 23 years. lol.
