I'd like to fly from Nashville to Cincy tomorrow for some Skyline Chili. Does anyone know of an airport with a Skyline nearby, cheap fuel and low or zero FBO fees? Oh and sharks with laser beams on their foreheads.

Closest I probably Lunken, but not that close

KILN look promising but they only have Jet A. I guess that's one way to keep the riff-raff out.

I don't know of any that has one at the airport, but nearly all of them have one within a couple of miles. You can easily take an Uber. For example, HAO, OXD, MGY.

Transient aircraft to ILN require a 4 hour prior permission.

runway closed at HAO tomorrow.

MGY it is. Thnks guys.

If you want to live it up, I69 also has a White Castle nearby the Skyline:confused:.

Cheers

That would be a better option. Their jalapeno bites are good; the soggy imitation Krystals are mediocre; not a fan of chili that is sweet (cinnamon?) even if served without spaghetti noodles.

But to each his own. Have a safe flight, and may the food be as good as you remember it, and not me . . .

Honestly I'd be nervous about eating that and flying the whole way back to Nashville.

ILN has one nearby but they're not very piston friendly and I66 is kinda out in the country comparatively (and Uber here in Clinton County = LOL)

Success! Thanks for all of the advice. Easy trip up there but it took me all day to get back. I had to stop twice because of storms. It ended up being a terrific adventure and a very expensive bowl of chili.

I don't think there's an airport in Cincy that doesn't have a Skyline or another of its ilk nearby. They're fairly ubiquitous. Never quite saw anything so pervasive and so regional before.

Some of the Mexican restaurants in my area are like that ... major concern about "explosive decompression" during flight:eek::eek::confused:
