Looks like they finally put the APU controls in a more reasonable place?

All the Hawkers I’ve seen have the APU controls there. But like they say, when you’ve seen one Hawker, you’ve seen one Hawker.

We flew to North Fox Island (6Y3) this weekend for a work / camp meeting. MI weather had some rain in the mix for us prior to showing us blue skies over Lake Michigan...

Next morning had some morning fog...

Clear over the runway, some light clouds over the woods.

Where? I don't see them at all. The one I flew had them behind the Captain on the panel facing the FO.

Upon looking closely, maybe they are there but lower down in the dark spot?

But like they say, when you’ve seen one Hawker, you’ve seen one Hawker.

better get my pics in now before the OSH pics start showing up. great turn out (not PoA turnout, just turnout) at the SCBC at Triple Tree (SC00). what an awesome place, I'm still kicking myself for not going there for the eclipse.

on the way to the airport. this is what the weather folks claim "potentially dangerous t-storms" look like:

@Shepherd , every time I see your videos I think there should be a .30cal (or .50cal) mounted just left of the fuel cap with a trigger handle stretching in across the dash :)

I have flown a reproduction of a Stinson in Civil Air Patrol colors with the bomb rack and fake bomb attached.
Kind of silly to look at, but then you remember, they actually did sink 2 subs during the war.

Hey look, there's the dude in the tower and there really IS a tower! Okay, I'd volunteer for that gig.

Tim a guy I was stationed with in the CAFB RAPCON ended up in Chicago ATC. Years later I was watching a show about Oshkosh and there he was, working the tower at Oshkosh!

I'm a submariner...so that hits a little too close to home...but it's cool!!!

But the guys at the base of the tower are yelling for him to put his clothes back on and to come on down.....:lol:
