Any Golf Enthusiasts here?

I was down to a 1 handicap when I was playing regularly, but aviation cut into the golf budget and now I hover in the mid 80s. But I don't do facebook.
 
I play a game with balls and clubs which loosely resembles golf if you don't look too hard. Do I qualify?
 
My dad tried to get me into golf when I was a kid. Clubs, lessons, etc. He got his money's worth - I hit that ball A LOT!
One day I came home and announced, "Dad! I finally broke 100!."
His reply, "Son, for 9 holes, that's not such a big deal."
 
I'm still trying to figure out the best strategy for getting the ball through the little windmill.
 
Suffice it to say, it takes a lot of balls to golf the way I do.
 
I have done 9 holes maybe 5 times in my life. 4 of those times were in the last two weeks.

I'm not good enough yet to suck at golf. That sport is HARD.
 
When I retired my son said, "I'm glad you took up flying. I was concerned you might take up golf."
 
I do like to play golf. But then I play it and I don’t like it so much.
 
I can whack a baseball like a pro, but golf is not my game. I have a 30% contact ratio, and I've been warned I'm a danger to myself and others on a golf course.
