I need a small toolbox that can tolerate standing in an inch of water (bed of pickup).
No plastic (the sun and banging around the bed will destroy it).
Standard 16" long (by 4-5" deep x 4-5" high) 6" height is too high.
Tray not necessary.
Anyone have one they like?

For something that small, a tool bag and toss it behind the seat to keep it dry.

This is outside your parameters slightly, but would a 4” pvc pipe with a screw cap on one end work? Just an idea - cheap and durable.

Otherwise i dont know of anything offhand. More and more are plastic nowadays.

Aluminum diamond plate prefab tool boxes were the only ones I found to handle that situation. Mounted an aluminum angle on bed to secure the boxes (3) when driving. Worked great until I could afford an extended cab and moved everything inside.
