I made this map because being a total badass up in the sky makes me hungry. Each location, when clicked on, will bring up hours, website links, photos and any useful comments on the airport or diner I have. Orange icons means restaurant is on-site. Green means it's in walking distance from airport. Blue is coming soon.

Restaurants open/close/change names all the time. Double check online or by calling before flying out. Let me know if I missed any, or if you have useful feedback I should add in the airport comments.

Welcomes back Cajun.

For some reason I can't get the link to open. Keeps giving me a "too many redirects" message. Might be my bog slow internet connection at home? Might try on the lightening fast one at the office later today.

In the meantime, I have a sudden urge to have bacon with breakfast

Weird. You can also view by clicking link to my blog in my signature. First entry has the map embedded :)

Thanks for the welcome. I have definitely been hybernating. I think most of New England did this winter. But the weather is finally nice again and I'm due for my flight review.

Looks like someone must have heard I came back to the message board.

That is awesome. Where did you pull data from? I'd like to help create one for the southeast.

Ha! Nope, but good to see you're still alive. I still lurk from time to time, but usually see the same people having the same arguments and decide to bow out without posting.

We've had a running list of airport diners in a facebook group for a couple years. I finally went through it, checked each airport out online or even called in some cases to be sure the information was current and went from there. It's a great resource, but it's going to be challenging to keep it current I think.

Ignore that stuff and do cool things like go to Kentucky Dam. Meeting face to face is a blast.

You can add The Flying Machine at LZU, that worked well. And, hopefully the shindig at Knoxville Downtown works out well in a few weeks. I need to call DCU and see if there's a good way to get folks to Big Bob Gibsons, it's a great BBQ joint. Likewise Moonlight BBQ at OWB.

Thanks for posting on this forum,I know you also posted on new England pilots. Good job.

Nice job. Useful. Hope you don't mind our input. In my case, the link to the restaurant at KBLM is for a restaurant in Zurich Switzerland, not Belmar, NJ, USA. Is there a restaurant at KBLM?

Some other suggestions within the geographic limits of those locations already included.

1) Sky Cafe at Sky Manor Airport in Pittstown, NJ (http://www.skymanorairport.com/sky-cafe.htm)
2) Nu-Cavu at Kobelt Airport in Wallkill, NY (http://www.nu-cavu.com/)
3) Cherry Ridge Airport Restaurant at Cherry Ridge Airprot in Honesdale, PA (http://www.cherryridgeairportrestaurant.com/)
4) The Bake House at Sullivan County Intl. Airport in Monticello, NY (https://www.facebook.com/The-Bake-House-247360282012107/)
5) Runway Cafe at South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, NJ (https://m.facebook.com/RunwayCafeNJ/)...this airport is right next to Flying W
6) Donna's Runway Cafe at Blairtown Airport in Blairstown, NJ (http://www.donnasrunwaycafe.com/)
7) A dark horse....Alegria Skyview Restaurant at Greenwood Lake Airport in West Milford, NJ (https://www.alegriarestaurante.com/). It's predecessor closed about a year ago and I just stumbled across this new one triggered by curiosity and your website (thank-you, again). Seems much more ambitious than the standard airport cafe.
