My Aviat Husky has a small (about 1/8") power jack instead of a cigarette lighter. It is female. I want to splice a male plug onto my phone charger cable (one made for a car cigarette lighter jack) so I can charge my phone from my airplane. Anyone know what jack that is and who sells it?

Pictures? Coax type power connector? It would probably be easier to change it to a USB port. That's what I have in my panel.

Not a coax, just a two wire jack one positive and one negative. LOT easier to put a jack on a wire than it is to change the jack that is permanently mounted in the plane. If I wanted to do something to the plane, I'd put in a cigarette lighter receptacle. Then a car type phone charger would work. MY plane has these small round 1/8" jacks. My VFR portable Garmin GPS has one spliced onto its wire in place of the cig plug (came with the plane).
