Put my 5th wheel up on jacks this morning for new brakes.

Wind gods respond this afternoon with this:

I guess I should not complain about our 55 MPH winds here then.......

But the wind has been diminishing since about noon.

And here I thought we get all the winds

We've been getting gusts to 30ish here, and i thought it was windy

Forgot to tag @gkainz on the question above. I think he saw my other thread where at least two local airports went IFR for the blowing dust. I seriously doubt any aircraft took them up on the offer.

Most wild thing was the wind shear warning at DEN. Citation was cleared to land with a wind report pushing 35 knots.

Tower issues a wind shear alert, “Wind shear alert, 55 knot loss of airspeed reported by an Airbus on a one mile departure...”

Instant transmission from the Citation...
“We’re on the go, runway heading until advised...”

LOL. Fit for neither man nor beast out there today.

Nope! But I was quite concerned! And now quite impressed at the stability of my jack stands!

They’re kinda built like box ends for spar carry throughs. You may want to check them for metal fatigue. :)

Musta had a heluva low north of you.
