Newbie to POA

[The Blue Falcon]

hello all.

I was recommended to this website because I am looking for a very small plastic rivet type part for a Bose first generation X headset and the factory has discontinued the part.

The model number & part # for my headset is
Bose part #
289525-001 (rivet)

Headset model #
AHX-02

I know it is an old headset, but it is in perfect working order and is a back up in our airplane (AA5A)

If there is anyone out there with an old Bose headset that is no good, or you would like to part with it please contact me.

I have been reading and navigating this website and you guys are great. Cannot wait to spend more time reading forums and posts !!

The rivet pops into the hole and the ear piece swivels on the rivet as it has a “dimple” on the end that meets the ear piece.
