Over the Mountains in a 1940 Taylorcraft

Sweet! First taildragger I flew was a T-craft. Fun airplanes.

How many miles and how long did it take? Probably had some tailwind this time of the year?

no tailwind for me, I averaged about 40MPH the first day, it was about 1400 nm, 5 days of flying and 24 hours of flight time. A long trip!!

Wow that does make for a long trip. Thought you might've had some help from the wind.

Nice. Brings back memories of the '41 T-Craft I once owned. Did a lot of stupid things in that airplane and somehow survived.

Very cool!!! Kind of crazy that it took that long in any airplane. That's quite a trip.
