I am guessing due to terrain but it's not like I was in a valley...

It says you were at 551' AGL, I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. If you lose an engine at that altitude, do you think you are going to have time to look at foreflight to see what options you have? :>)
 
Nope... What caught my eye was the glide thingy was going crazy changing like it was "bubbling" all over there screen.. best way I could describe it... Just never seen that before!
 
I would expect the solution to be very noisy at low altitude.
 
Could it also be compensating for all those obstacles? You can see that there is a significant cutout from 10 to 12 o'clock which corresponds well to those bigger obstacles that are red. Then around 9:30-10 o'clock there is a sudden increase in range and you can see a gap in obstacles. The terrain seems pretty uniform for that entire region.
