On trip yesterday my GPS GX 60 stopped working and it said NAV FLAGGED ?

Isn't that what is supposed to happen when your GPS craps out? Did it fritz out (technical term) or did it completely power down?

I had that happen once on my GX-60 and it was the data card. Reload it with data and try again?

IT just FRITZED out, I turned it off and back on and it did the IFR test OK.

I had one quit when the internal battery died, but I can't remeber the error message (CAP airplane, a few years back)

That message also shows if the current "TO" waypoint is not set.

Like if you have waypoint ABC selected but you're going in the wrong direction to reach it? I guess I've never seen that on mine.

Do they even have parts for these anymore? I had a scare with mine the other day (had a constant stuck mic) but it turned out to be fixable. All I saw were dollar signs because I've upgraded 2 GPS systems and a transponder already in the last six months.
