Cherokee down - Lake Clark Alaska

PA-28. Missing since Wednesday on a flight from Port Alsworth to Anchorage. Debris found in Lake Clark which appears to be from the aircraft. Four souls aboard.

I flew the area last summer. Not good place for a VFR only pilot when the weather is marginal.

I clicked on the link in the article to the 2005 crash they reference. Wow, absolutely awful. Really wish I didn't read that one.
