He spoke at the Short Wing convention a couple of years ago. His story is pretty inspirational. And he has some awesome pictures.
 
Sierra Hotel! That was very enjoyable. Years ago at a Commander's Call, our squadron CO invited another Colonel to speak. LTC Robert Smith spent a number of years as a POW in N. Vietnam. Fantastic and amazing speech. If you ever have an opportunity to listen to one of these heroes, do it, you won't regret it.
 
Have a Vietnam POW in my EAA group,gave a talk ,it's remarkable how any of them survived. Proud to have him as a friend.
 
Got Brian's autograph on "Sled Driver" at Nellis in 97. Awesome dude, fascinating stories.
