Wow, I remember some of those from my childhood. Classics.

It's not just these that aren't shown anymore.

When they were still showing Bugs Bunny on Saturday morning they were sanitized to the point of removing the jokes.

Bugs the matador laid out the grease, the glue on a brush, the sandpaper, the match, the fuse leading to the TNT. The bull chases him to the arena, hits the grease, goes flying, looks into the camera with a dumb look on his face and then.... Nothing. Bugs looks into the camera and says something like, "That's the way it goes."

I'll bet kids wonder why those old cartoons are so dumb and not funny.

We have 16 DVD's of Looney Tunes at my house. They are definitely not sanitized. One box set even has an introductory speech by Whoopi Goldberg about how some of the gags are not very PC these days.
My kids, (6 and 9) absolutely love them. Especially Yosemite Sam vs. Bugs.
I guess they will be gun totin' Klan members someday. But they will have a sense of humor.
