How to use this

I have been digging through books on all the different doodads in the plane and I can't find how to work this. IF I understand correctly, this is my altitude preselect.

Does anyone feel like rattling off a how to for this thing?
Better yet, a link to a manual.

I have manuals for the Garmins, Sandel, Transponder, Avidyne, etc but I am not finding a reference to this anywhere.

Don't forget to check the binder where you have the POH and FIM's. IIRC, the docs should be maintained there and stored in the aircraft.
