Taken at our appearance today at the grand opening of the new CAF Museum at McCampbell Airport, Ingleside, Texas.

This is why we love doing these shows. This kid was dressed in full Army uniform, asked Mary great questions, and knew F.D. Roosevelt's Pearl Harbor speech BY HEART!

It was a long, hot day, but so much fun!

The CAF's uber-rare P-39 was the star of the show....

As we're all aware, the Internet would cease to exist without Cat and Baby pictures. So here's my contribution...

The PBY was just restored for use in a Nicholas Cage movie about the USS Indianapolis.

Something about the nose of that Catalina is bothering me and I can't place my finger on it...

It also has B-25 QEC FWF.

Our flight over our home, Mustang Island and Port Aransas, Texas last night.

Still think Texas is all ranches and scrub? ;)

That's very cool. We know guys who land on the beaches up and down the island chain here on the gulf, and it always sounds like a hoot!

interesting........anything fun to do around there?
Donno about Franklin (where that little airport is)... We went to Bryson City and Smoky Mountains for a couple days, and drove Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville... Thought about flying to and from Asheville but 1A5 approach is way cooler :).

And this last pic is why I have to get that darned Night Flying restriction removed. Sigh I hate being Color Deficient well at least to where I cant pass the color blind test.

@ Auburn2002: Wow, great pictures. And one of my most favorite aircraft as well!

Teddy How close is that to Cherokee. Not that I love poker or anything but a flight up there could be fun.
Cherokee is about 40-45 mins of driving away. There's another airport only half as far - Jackson Country 24A. I have not been there, but it also looks cool: https://www.flickr.com/photos/livemusicphotography/11040284746 :). The only problem with it is that it's unattended, and Enterprise doesn't deliver cars there on weekends.
