Hi everyone-
Sorry for the lack of updates, I had to take the winter off to regroup. I'm nearly two years into the airplane hitchhiking (jetHiking) project and am on my way to the last 8 states. As a goal-within-a goal, I left from Key West (southernmost airport) and am trying to reach the northernmost in Alaska.

I'm in Franklin, North Carolina right now. (ia5)
The remaining 8 are:
Indiana
Illinois
Oklahoma
Kansas
Missouri
Utah
Alaska
and Hawaii (I'm thinking I'll save that for last)..

I finally got a smartphone so I'm updating Facebook pretty regularly.

Thanks to everyone for their support so far! The aviation community has been really awesome :) Great people.

Glad to see you traveling again. Buen viaje!

Nice. Most days I can't get motivated enough to leave my house.

Have you already done Leadville, CO? The highest elevation public airport in the CONUS, just shy of 10,000 feet MSL.

I'll probably be leaving Minneapolis on Monday so stopping in Kansas on my way to Tucson would be easy. I don't know if that would be helpful to you.

Thanks for the offer but I don't think I'll be that far along yet. Not much traffic here at Franklin.
