Anyone checked out the SocialFlight mobile app for ga events?

Saw this on GA news. Seems very cool and runs on all phones and tablets. Anyone else using it? Seems like a cool way to share live pics at Airventure.

Strange - My original post seems to have disappeared after I tried to edit it.

Anyway - Saw a story on this new mobile app on GA News - SocialFlight. Easy way to find all sorts of GA events. Pretty cool (and free). Anyone else using it?

Seems like a cool way to share pics at Airventure.

This thread died last year but the App and growing use has not. It's getting populated with a lot of events for those needing an excuse to go burn some Avgas.....

I agree, I've had the app for quite some time and at first it didn't have much to report but lately it seems that it's picking up a little speed as more and more people post on it.

I just loaded it a month or so ago based on a blurb in one of the aviation-related email blasts I get. Maybe you're seeing a spike in use from that. (The email blast, that is, not my installation!)
