A few weeks ago I took a ride in this to get an idea how to make a video for these folks. This past weekend I got the footage using 4 keychain HD cameras (as big as a keyfob) you can't beat this quality for $40

Amazing what $40 will get ya these days. Very nicely done.

Mind if I ask how you attached them?

For the most part it looks very good and the audio sounds fantastic.
Do you have a link to these $40 cameras?
What did you do for the audio? Was it recorded separately?

That's the wrong thread on RCG. These are the 808 #16's with programmable firmware., ill post a link shortly

That link looks right however here is where I got mine..

It is lens A ,, this seller is one of the only legit sellers.. BEWARE of similar cams out there.. this seller will ship and you get them fast! (like 5 days or so) http://www.ebay.com/itm/180941670824?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I also bought these external packs

This is the correct link to the RCG thread.. in it are links to the programable firmware..

And again I will mention if you buy from another seller you're taking a chance to get burned.. :) There are many out there that appear the same..:mad2:

They average about 35-45min., use the cig charger and a 32gig card and they can go for many hours.. Read the post in RCG

These cameras usually work pretty well but their solder is new style RoHS compatible without lead and grows tin whiskers really quickly - and they fail within a year or so -

I have seen many of them disassembled in that failure mode . . .

this why the cheap electronics from China never seems to last- many folks think it is abuse or being dropped but its usually tin whiskers from cheap azz soldering of the circuit board.
