Saint Barths from San Juan PR Flights

Not sure what map you are looking at but from St. Thomas to TFFJ it is about 124nm and no land in between. That would be a very long glide!

Saint Barths from San Juan PR Flights

So I see that there are flights in a PC-12 from San Juan with N Registration. Wondering how they comply with over-water regulations in a single engine turboprop? Anybody know?

    Spruce Creek Livability Question

Would appreciate comments on living in Spruce Creek (FL) aviation community. I'm sure the aviation community is good, was wondering how the quality of life is outside of aviation. Noise in particular. Thanks in advance for comments!

Continental AD 2023-04-08 (Cirrus in Particular)

SO... was wondering what's going on out there in the maintenance world by those affected with the Continental AD, particularly with SR22's. Service delays getting into the shop, delays for parts, tools, etc.? I'm hoping to get my plan in the shop this month but had to do some hard bargaining to...

    Thinking about a Bus/RV

Check out RVing with Andrew Steele on Youtube, very informative. I've owned a 45' Newmar, did a summer road trips up into Canada when my kids were little, was great. My observations: Pluses: all food onboard, kids disappear in the back while driving, bikes and toys onboard... check, no...

    BRM Bristell User Comments 915iS

Would appreciate any comments on user experience with the BRM. Also resale values down the road. Seems like a nice bird, typical limited functionality ( LSA limitations), any other big gotchas? Cockpit ventilation? (FL and no A/C is a concern). Sold my DA62 and SR22T, looking for something to...

    What Aircraft and Airline?

Good old days for sure. I hired on with Allegheny Airlines, walked into the terminal at Logan, no security, all the doors open to the tarmac, stairs up to the airplanes (pre-jet bridges), and if one was late for a flight you ran onboard and got ticketed in flight with one of those manual credit...
