    Bogus invoice from KSMO

@Clip4 i can’t help but notice you criticize anytime someone mentions fees. Were your parents killed by fees when you were a child?

Here's Why You Don't Want to Shortcut a Traffic Circle

I don't mind traffic circles at all. They are better than traffic lights and everything can flow well. I say "can" because if you get a "traffic-circle-newb" that doesn't know how to handle a traffic circle, it sometimes backs everyone up. And I agree with the false courtesy that goes on at...

@Mooney Fan did you buy it? I saw on a Facebook aviator's group that Carl posted the plane sold last night.

The testing center has accused me of cheating on my IR written.

Perhaps it will. THEN people should be charged if they do asset forfeiture against the law. But, asking them to be held accountable for a legal activity?

You can call it stealing, but the law doesn’t.

Wow, getting off on quite a tangent. I'm not here to debate civil asset forfeiture, but I would just ask you, that for someone to be charged, they would have to do something illegal, yes? I also don't work for the IRS, so I'm not too familiar with their forfeitures, but you do realize civil...

I've seen this actual plane in person, more than once. The owner/builder, Carl, is a nice guy.

Beaver Island? YES! Hog Island? NO! (But unfortunately, I think I may have visited Hog Island in my younger "any port in a storm" days)

Not exactly. At my agency (like nearly all jobs), I have superiors to answer to, and my time is limited. If I'm repeatedly called to investigate someone, over and over, my butt starts to get put on the line if later its found that I've missed or overlooked something. My butt even gets put on...

    Runup area/Hold short Etiquette

This very scenario has happened to me before as well. I did the same as you. Side note: I must run through my checklist faster than most, as it seems to me that I'm always passing people in the run-up area, even though everyone is VFR, etc.

Its all good. I'm retiring this week, and I plan to NEVER work in any sort of law enforcement role again. After 30+ years, I'm ready to move on.

Where did I say, "annoying but innocent" ? I said (in summary): if you poke the bear, make sure you're innocent.

10 pages of thread and I still have some unanswered questions for the op: Did the test proctor actually say that he was reporting you just to punish you, or are you (and apparently Denverpilot) just assuming that? Did he report you for cheating, or for saying you were cheating (or for your...
