Looks like it was on approach to John Tune ~7:45pm - ended up on the east side of I-40 in West Nashville. RIP to those lost - condolences to their families and loved ones.

That hull/vessel looks to be excruciatingly simple. I suspect the wireless game controller - which would make it a no-go for me, means that there are few if any penetrations to the vessel hull.
Implosion anywhere in operational depth is less likely than incapacitation of crew or failure of all...
Maybe the consolation is that… if there is any “I” in the AI, it won’t bother asking us if we want to play a game. ??
We’re a peculiar species of cat in all of this.
83 and sunny in Mid TN yesterday.
It has warmed up to 47 deg here in Burbank this morning as rain pelts my hotel window.
FYI: convertibles are renting for cheap this week.
copy that on the Kiowas. haha..
Turns out, metro police does have (2) helicopters. According to Flightaware, both metro police helicopters show flights tonight, but neither were in the air at 8:30pm CST - and they are not
shown as having been in the air at the same
time. The only MPD flight...
^^ I guess it could be, but this was an offset tandem pair. I've never seen our law enforcement operate like that, and I don't know that we have (2) single turbine helicopters. I see Metro's Airbus track... doesn't match what I saw, and there's only 1. Most likely the 160th out of Ft...
hahahahahaaaa.. probably that.
It was so odd… the track they were on and how low they were.
We live incredibly close to John Tune, so I’m used to seeing Ft. Campbell flights passing over every now and then, but they are always 500’+ AGL - headed toward farm land.
Where these guys/gals were...
Green Hills- Nashville
(2) - sounded like Kiowas… running offset tandem. Not more than 300’ AGL- no strobe- just (red & green?) navigational lights.
Running north to south over an exclusively dense residential area… where terrain rises as they go south. No signature or track of...
Wow - respect for the pilot and the puns. This reads like a good cup of coffee. Everyone on that plane is definitely going to lay up for a while after this.

No word on what or whom. They fly a LOT of Robinson training/hour building flights around the area. I see/hear them constantly when I'm out fishing.
