That's the AP disconnect button alright, but there is another teeny tiny CB on the yoke that is black and pullable.

Look on the backside of the yoke. There's a separate (small) pullable CB for the AP.

It's to check fueling at idle after the initial prime is gone. A fueling problem at idle could mean a dead engine when you need a go around.

Spin entry, yes. Spin recovery is more Gs. In any case, utility category is a requirement for spin certification.
