Is this an inherent problem with Continental engines or just a mis match between the engine and the airframe manufacturers operating procedures? Continental tells people upfront to overhaul after 12 years. Are people expecting more from the engine than the manufacturer tells them to expect?
Funny you should say that. I was just thinking the other day how this forum seems to have moved in a certain direction and how you were probably the most responsible for that. Kind of a frat boy feel to it.
I don't see drones as being anything special in warfare. Ever since we started to throw rocks at each other it has always been about who can get the greater stand off distance.
Longbows, rifles, naval guns, airplanes , or whatever.
I didn't see price rises or panic buying and hoarding where I live. But Geico said people ( where he lives I presume) were hoarding gasoline and food and that fuel merchants were "gouging"customers.
Why do you refer to a rise in prices as "gouging"? The prices rose in response to a dramatic increase in demand due to panic.
The rise in price is the markets way of rationing. Would it be better that the shelves are picked clean on the basis of who could get there first?
You said people...
It has been known for a long time that the shift schedule that controllers work is the worst possible, for alertness and health.
But it is what the workforce wants, so the FAA gives it to them.
Re: My instructor nagged me because..
You haven't read what Marco said was the FBO owners response, you don't know the details, you don't know this, you don't that. But you have no problem making definitive statements based on your assumptions, or posting a big picture addressed to me saying...
Re: My instructor nagged me because..
I guess you missed the part where Marco talked to the FBO owner.
I would be confident that if I was renting a DA20 equipped with a 24 gallon tank in any of the 50 states , that they would all indeed have 24 gallon capacity.
You share the same problem with millions of risk averse passive investors .
The Federal Reserve has been punishing savers for a long time now, longer than I ever anticipated. You use to be able to get a satisfactory interest rate on a risk free CD.
I have no clue when those days will return.
