You sign off the annual as a whole, the engine airframe and prop. You can write 100 hr on the engine and prop for the records. I’ve seen it done both ways. Annual on engine and prop or 100 hr. Annual on the airframe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s why we fly patterns and look out the windows. I was shooting landings in a stearman with no radio and a guy came straight in and yelled at me while I was fueling. If he flew a pattern and looked out the windshield he would have seen a big yellow biplane. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think your best bet would be to tell them to sign off the annual with their discrepancies, pay the bill and find another shop and chalk it up to a bad experience. I’ve had an airplane come into my shop for an annual with blatant airworthiness problems and the FSDO wanted nothing to do with it...
