This is a Basic-med legal question. Looking for case precedent. Does the basic-med signoff physician have the authority to determine what medications are LEGAL to fly under?

There is no need to spend big bucks on a Nav database update. There are folks that can set you up for one-time update for 60.

So what does it cost today (2021) to update the navigation database? Have they made it easier? Can you update just once or do you have to buy a yearly subscription?

Your right. It's a small observation. Am I to assume no one else is seeing this trend?

I have been noticing LPV approaches/ vertical guidance approaches being replaced with LP approaches at smaller airports. KAKR, KTSO are just two examples. I have been under the impression that this is a trend in the last few years. My source was a pilot group gathering and personal observation.

Does anyone know why the FAA is replacing RNAV vertical guidance approaches with non-vertical guidance approaches? LPV -> LP Back to the old chop and drop flying.

I hear what you are saying. If there is an accident or incident where blood is drawn , they will discover it. If you are flying on basicmed is there a disclosure requirement for SSRI? This is a legal question Im asking.
