In 1980 I was "certificated" to fly while in college and eventually obtained Comm MEL, SEL, Rotorwing, and CFII MEL ratings.
"IF your wife ever tells you either the plane or the house has to go - tell her the house.... You can always live in the plane but you can't fly a house!"
