Both my airplane partner and I were members of the local flight schools. Once we've bought our plane, we haven't looked back. Unless the club/flight school offers a plane that yours can't do: i.e. single vs multi or 2 vs 4 seats, etc, IMHO I don't see the reason.
Once our neighbor in the north opens up its border, I would like to take a trip from NY to Quebec. Looking for advice on the steps required (eAPIS, clearing custom etc). Any website that I can read up on this would be great. TIA!
I flew my family on a long x-country from NY to FL recently. It was the first time with them on board so I asked a CFI friend to tag long. Other than dodging a few cumulous clouds after our stop in Myrtle Beach, the trip was uneventful. I remember reading on this forum that you can do a low...
I ain't quitting my day job that's for sure. No one is gonna pay me to watch my crappy videos...lol.
...but my bladder has diminished endurance with age.
Love Knoxville! Great town and nice people. Cirrus opened its Vision Center in 2017 and it's a very impressive campus.
Thanks pal! I'm not a professional - just do this for fun and laughs. Editing wasn't too bad took about a week or so.
we bought the N number off someone else. 888 is a lucky number in Chinese culture and "FU" phonetically means luck or prosperity hence the tail number. We are actually pretty popular amongst the ATC guys in the NY area...lol. Of course if we f-up, they'll remember us, too.
I did the math once and quickly realized ignorance is a bliss...financially it makes little sense for us (I have a partner) to own. If we didn't have a 5 year warranty from the factory, I doubt 3x would be enough to cover the MX.
