Looks like we all had the itch to get in the air. I was up early and did some bill paying and then got thinking that the winds were light at KBJC, so I quickly scheduled a plane and did some pattern work and T&Gs. Felt great! :D

SHRFLYZ As you can see this is my login name as well. It originally was due to the fact that my 2006 Charger Daytona is a muscle car (ie. ... it sure flys...). But since becoming a pilot, it also reflects what I get to do.

It definitely was a fun day of flying. I was in the final plane (N2459K) having issues with hot starts. Once I called the FS I rent from and got the procedures reexplained, it was a little easier to get that beast started again. All in all a fun day. Cannot wait to do it again next time.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes. In just a short time I think I have found Nirvana or at least something close to that. :) A possible new local association to become involved in, lots of new friends, and even a possible flying club. BTW, Greg, I have heard of Ten High Flying Club...
