    Any aircraft owners in MA?

$150/year registration for a single. Easy. No sales tax on aircraft-related purchases. May not be relevant, but we use an NH LLC for administrative purposes (partnership) which runs about $150/year. Having owned a couple of businesses in MA, if you can avoid MA business filings, you're better off.

A trend of First Officers not wanting to be Captains

R/D here, and same approach. A lot of these discussions ignore the reality for airline pilots - a LOT have side gigs. Assuming you've kept your cost of living low, you save some capital, dial back a bit at such a job and maintain a stable income and benefits and suddenly you have the time to...

    Track car daily driver recommendations

As you get closer to dedicated track car, 2.5L converted NC's are attainable and a nice option. The smaller motors can be turboed but run out of cooling. There's always the LFX (Chevy V6) converted Miata (NB and NC) and RX8. The converted RX8 (fantastic chassis) may be a workable option for the...

RS2 porsche/audi wagon? would be a crime to track one, IMO. Rare. I didn't see where the OP specified manual, but the RS3 could be a fun option..

    Track car daily driver recommendations

Two friends are tracking both a daily-driver ST and the other, a C7 GS Corvette. The ST seems to be a good solution but as a daily, it's tight inside. The 'Vette is basically a dedicated track car, but the operating costs are obscene - he thinks he's spending about 3000-3500 for a 3-day event...

    Track car daily driver recommendations

Having owned a WRX and other Imprezas, I don't consider them 250k mile cars, particularly if there is track use in the mix.

    Track car daily driver recommendations

Ha. To be clear, my wife daily-drove an N-B for several years (and winters!). Similar experiences, but I'm hesitant to recommend one as a primary daily unless (like we did) you have access to something else, in our case an Impreza wagon.

    Track car daily driver recommendations

No mention of RS6 Avant? Joking aside, I've driven most of the options here, and tracked about half. GTI is really the first thing coming to mind. It's a great daily and a fun track car, easy on tires, and will survive a long time. The Golf R is a little too wound up for my taste. Personally...

    Aircraft Upholstery Fabric. US

The official burn test is cheap, easy, and seemingly less stringent than what most had done at home (they use a small lab burner) - they're looking to ensure that the materials don't continue to burn after the flame source is taken away. You'll find that most automotive materials just pass this...

    SR22 Passenger Weight

Very, very happy with it! As business moves along, I joke about burning Jet A but it's hard to imagine needing *more* then the SR22 offers.
